Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Aspen went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a pro. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued her dominance and scored an even amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for the performance of the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd's win was a majority decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
